Our client, a successful aviation business, is looking to recruit an HR Manager. Reporting into the CEO, you will cover the full generalist remit and provide a proactive HR service to the business.
The role will take the lead on all HR responsibilities and you will cover all aspects of the people agenda. Initially you will review the current HR processes and look at improving them where you can to make it an efficient service for the business. Building good relationships with the management, you will coach and mentor them so they are empowered to take the lead on HR matters for their teams. Work will include recruitment, employee relations, training and development and engagement.
The successful candidate will be hands-on and strong in all areas of generalist HR. You will be able to build good relationships with the business and be comfortable in challenging senior leaders. You will understand how to work in an SME environment and be willing to roll up your sleeves to pick up ad hoc tasks. The role is based in London but will require regular travel to offices in the South. You will be commercially minded and have operated at HR manager level. You will have a people-focussed, fresh and open approach to HR.
