I'm currently partnering with a leading financial services brand on the below 12 month FTC, and I am keen to speak with Payroll Managers from a FS/PS background who have been exsposed to Payroll and HR administration.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Reporting to HR, taking sole responsibility for the monthly outsourced payroll
  • Review monthly payroll reports received from Workday for accuracy utilising the Workday process report which records all payroll & benefit related activity initiated in any given month
  • Review monthly payroll data changes report received from Workday and insert commentary and submit to relevant payroll processor
  • Review and process all monthly cash expenses for London Branch
  • Reconcile monthly payrolls and ensure all necessary approvals have been obtained to process the payrolls & BACS authorisations
  • Reconcile and upload payroll journals received from payroll provider to Finance system
  • Prepare and seek all necessary approvals to comply with the relevant tax jurisdictions; PAYE / HMRC Short Term Business Visitor Tax / PSA / P11d's
  • Reconcile payroll bank statements and review the accuracy of payroll deductions to payroll output documents
  • Ensure compliance with policy and regulatory requirements
  • Act as first point of contact for any queries received from Global Mobility Team / Group Share Team or BU Remuneration teams
  • Work with Pension providers to ensure the correct and timely allocation of pension contributions
  • Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of nonstandard remuneration arrangements such as BU specific Short Term Variable Remuneration schemesccc

HR Administration & Reporting

  • Providing support for all Workday related activities
  • Preparing monthly reports such as headcount, turnover, sick leave, length of service, tenure, recruitment stats, Diversity and mobility as required
  • Benefit administration: Private Medical Insurance / Cycle to Work loans / Season ticket loans / Staff medical checks
  • Global Mobility: Maintain oversight of all international transfers, responsible for local set up arrangements and collation of any benefit reports required for tax purposes (relocation / schools, etc.)
