Learning & Development Manager: Permanent: Stoke-on-Trent: £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

Macmillan Davies are delighted to be supporting our financial services client in their search for a Learning & Development Manager to join their team. Due to business growth, our client is looking to appoint a Learning & Development Manager into their organisation to take responsibility for the delivery of training across the business. The Learning & Development Manager will report into the CEO and will be responsible for designing, delivering and implementing all training material. This is a brand-new role within the business, so there is a lot of room for scope and creativity. The Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to):

* Designing and delivering dynamic and effective induction training, providing exciting learning solutions for operational roles that are focused on driving performance improvement
* Designing and delivering ongoing and refresher training across departments
* Designing and delivering new training projects as and when required
* Project management of the design and delivery plans to ensure completion and quality of output.
* The delivery of large scale projects and programmes e.g. new business
* Reviewing existing and identify future training requirements including qualifications and compliance with regulatory or statutory requirements
* Liaising with stakeholders within the business to ensure training needs are met and delivered

To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, it is essential that you have the following skills/attributes:

* A strong background in learning design and delivery of training projects with strong service orientation
* Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and to understand the underlying business and organisational needs
* Analytical and imaginative approach to identifying process improvements
* Learning industry experience is desirable
* Substantial learning design experience is essential
* A learning industry qualification (e.g. CIPD, TAP) is desirable but not essential
