A globally recognised employer of choice are looking to attract a HR Operations Manager to cover a period of maternity. 12 month FTC, based in Liverpool, paying up to £50k plus car (allowance).

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Operations Manager will lead and manage the HR team at an operational level, enabling the delivery of a comprehensive HR service to the Organisation, and ensuring that all activities are planned and delivered on a timely basis and providing a first class people focused HR service.

Main duties will encompass:

  • Take responsibility to lead and develop the HR team (People Partners, Recruitment, People Services, Equality and diversity)
  • Work closely with senior Managers across the Organisation to develop and implement the people strategy
  • Provide guidance and support to the HR People Partners to operate effectively in their customer groups
  • Manage and offer guidance on complex employee relations casework
  • Ensure that a proactive approach to recruitment is taken and a pipeline of key talent is developed
  • Identify training and skills gaps across the Organisation
  • Develop and lead a small team which offers 1st line advice on all HR matters
  • Offer professional and inspirational leadership to the team in order to support individual development
  • Seek continuous improvement in the service provision of the HR team
  • About You

    The HR Operations Manager will be a strong generalist with people management skills. You will have touched upon all areas of HR and bring a positive attitude and encourage a culture of continuous improvement and inclusion. Your background will have been gained ideally in commercial, multi-site environments. You will be a CIPD qualified HR professional able to commit to a 12 month role commencing in May.
