Employee Relations Advisor
A great opportunity for an experience employee relations professional to work for a busy and highly commercial UK business with over 20,000 employees.
Located in the east of London the role of ER advisor will provide a consistent, credible and comprehensive ER service which includes end to end case management, providing commercially prudent advice, improving the capabilities of line managers and implementing interventions that address key themes and issues.
You will form part of a larger team of ER specialist and report to the Senior Advisor of ER.
Experience of dealing with complex, high volume ER cases, end to end, including preparation of cases for tribunal.
Up to date employment law and best practice HR knowledge.
Demonstrable experience of delivering pragmatic, commercial advice to senior stakeholders.
Experience of building strong working relationships, with the ability to challenge and influence at difference levels across the organisation.
Experienced in delivering coaching, training and development interventions to raise Line manager capability.
Ability to coach and manage others in the understanding and interpretation of HR policies, processes and procedures and use these to advise line managers when dealing with complex ER cases.
Experience of working within a customer focused function within a large company. The role will cover both a retail and head office client base.
Clear, articulate and concise communication skills eg conveying complex and sensitive information in a succinct manner.
