The role of the HR Manager is to support the organisation by developing and implementing people management strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

As a HR manager you will:

  • Lead, develop and direct a comprehensive HR function for the business, working as part of the senior management team to deliver the people plan and drive change initiatives
  • Overall responsibility for the payroll administration process with a third party provider
  • Measure employee engagement and identify areas that require improvement to nurture a positive working environment
  • Manage all employee relations
  • Coach managers on performance management and the new objective setting process
  • Oversee and manage a performance review system that drives high performance
  • Assess training needs, designing training strategies and monitoring training and mentoring programmes
  • Manage the recruitment and selection activity for the organisation
  • Manage HR budgets
  • Manage any other people focused projects as and when required
  • Working with the Marketing function and provide all necessary updates for the organisation wide monthly newsletter as part of the comms strategy


You will be:

  • Personable and professional manner
  • A positive and enthusiastic character
  • Able to maintain confidential and sensitive data
  • Understanding that flexibility and willingness to adapt will be fundamental to undertake variety of responsibilities
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels
  • CIPD Qualified (Level 5 upwards)
  • Previous experience of working with HR and Time and Attendance systems is desirable
