  • Responsible, together with the Business line management, for the development and execution of the people agenda to meet the business requirements
  • Provide HR advice on complex issues, from strategic recruitment and implementation of one way of working to individual cases
  • Promotes the creation of a strong performance culture and supports the management establishing those practices that will enhance solid performance management in the function and across countries.
  • Develop the talent practice of the COO Staff function working together with business line management to identify talent gaps and plans to build pipelines to meet future growth plans
  • Support the management in forecasting and developing the leadership succession pipeline in line with the business and company priorities
  • Facilitate talent reviews (identify, attract, develop) to support the business strategy
  • Partner with management to design new Target Operating Models and implement one way of working across geographies
  • Conduct capability analysis and act as HR lead in outsourcing projects cross country for optimal organizational effectiveness
  • Advise management on individual cases and organizational changes

Experience /Competencies

  • Ability to work both at strategic as well as tactical level, as and when needed
  • Can do mentality, hands on approach
  • Ability to navigate and influence in a complex, international matrix organization
  • Strong HR expertise, preferably knowledge of Dutch labour law
  • Change agent with strong drive for results
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • A team player, with strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Sense of urgency - delivery of global HR solutions in a smooth, impactful and relevant way, direct and action oriented communications style
  • Ability to influence and move business in a direction that is less expensive and more effective (location strategy, sourcing, etc.)
  • Passionate team player - sharing information, contribution to the team development and growth and able to act as sounding board within HR
  • Presence - dedicated presence to execute the HR strategy - creating better managers and greater leaders
  • Self-awareness - ability to see where you are strong and where you need to develop
