Role: HR Assistant
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum plus benefits
Our client, a leading distribution specialist, is looking for an experienced Human Resources Assistant who’s ready to make their mark on their department from day one.
Reporting directly to their Head of HR within this fast paced environment, you will work as part of an established HR function. Joining at this important time for the business, you will be data and metrics driven whilst being able to utilise experience of having implemented new reporting structures.
Due to the environment you will be resilient, able to work effectively and efficiently without too much guidance, with the ability to create and put systems in place to report a range of data. As well as introducing the new systems, dealing with ER issues such as absences and disciplinaries will play a part in the day to day duties.
Working with managers within the business, this role will include advising management and other team members of how to operate the new reporting structures and how to maintain them to make the HR department more efficient, organised and controlled.
• To be considered for this role, the individual would poses the following qualities:
• Extensive experience working as an HR Assistant with the desire to step into a HR Advisory role;
• Successfully set up new reporting systems within a Human Resources function;
• Have been involved in organising and managing databases and creating reports;
• Are working towards or have achieved their CIPD;
• Aren’t afraid to be hands on and play an active role within the Department.
The right person for this role would of previously dealt with data handling and be able to operate and run reports for areas such as absences, turnover, salary data etc and have the confidence to set these data systems up from scratch. Primarily based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, some very occasional travel would be required to other sites so candidates with a full UK driving license and access to a car would be beneficial.
