An opportunity has arisen for a generalist HR Officer to join our client on a fixed term contract until Feb 2018. Offering between £33-35k depending on experience, this role is based near Moor Row in Cumbria, and requires an immediate start.

The interim HR officer will be responsible for a small team, and management of the following:
·Work as a business partner to your assigned business units, providing a first class HR service across the group, and the management of relationships with senior managers across the business
·Development of policies and processes
·Management of resourcing and retention issues, sickness absence management, employment relations issues and all HR matters occurring within the Division.
·Management of complex HR issues up to Tribunal
·AdHoc project management

The successful candidate:
·Will be immediately available
·Have proven experience within a generalist role, in particular the above responsibilities
·CIPD Qualified
·Strong Employment law knowledge
·Excellent report writing skills and project management
