Training/HR Officer

A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a highly capable Training Officer to join at a highly exciting time for the business. Working with a number of industry leading businesses – many of which are household names – my client feels that now is the right time to bring a commercially focused Training professional into the business.

Based at the Head Office in Rugby your predominant focus will be to review existing training initiatives and develop all on-the-job training processes to ensure they continue to support the needs of the organisation. In turn you will assist in the development of the annual training plan, ensuring training needs are identified and actioned upon, whilst supporting on training administrative processes. 

This role is about introducing improvements and introducing new training processes, rather than designing and delivering training interventions. 

Working as part of an established HR team you will spend some of your time supporting on more generalist HR responsibilities (20%) but the main focus (80%) will be on the training aspect. 

To be considered for this role you will be CIPD Level 3 (as a minimum), have clear experience of having identified improvements within training processes, and have worked within a predominantly blue collar environment.
