They are seeking a Senior Compensation and Benefits specialist to advise business units and the leadership team across the organisation on their reward strategy. This is going to be a genuinely exciting challenge for the right person.

Working closely with the Leadership team and HR, you will lead the international development and delivery of effective and market competitive reward strategies, policies, practices and programmes which engage the business’ people. You will work hard to align reward initiatives with the business and people strategies. 

Essentially you will provide an integral, valued and professional service to the organisation whilst working with colleagues who are truly passionate about what they do.

What will be keeping you busy?

Managing an established team, you will lead the development and implementation of a best in class reward strategy across the EMEA region whilst ensuring that programmes and policies are fully aligned to the objectives of the business. The strategies that you put in place will help to enable the recruitment, retention and motivation of employees within a structure that is transparent and fair.

This is a business that is often involved in M&A activity. You will work with the business to ensure that reward structures are harmonised across any newly acquired businesses.

You will of course be expected to provide strong functional leadership to the reward team, ensuring that the team is equipped with all necessary functional and business skills. At the same time, you will also ensure the provision of subject matter expertise to senior managers and HR Business Partners. You will act as an ambassador of the organisation’s corporate values with an ability to challenge upwards and downwards if the behaviour of others are not in line with these values.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a truly strategic operator that has worked in a large and complex global organisation. You will be commercially minded with the ability to align reward strategy with the business strategy.

Industry experience is not essential but we do want to speak to people that have worked with global multi-site businesses.

You will work with professionalism and good humour and will be able to engage stakeholders at all levels of the business with an ability to lead and drive change, and bring in new ways of thinking.

We are looking for strong interpersonal skills with the right balance of empathy and rigour as you work with both internal and external partners.

You will possess excellent spoken and written communication skills, as well as first class presentation ability. You will be someone that is great developing those around them and will help build a strong succession hires for the future.
