Role: Learning and Development Manager

Industry: Transport and Rail

Salary: GBP 45,000 - GBP 50,000

Location: Central London.

My client, a leading transport and travel business and are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to join them in their Central London office in what can only be described at a very exciting time. The company are undergoing some exciting changes and a total revamp to the building. You will be responsible to drive recruitment, talent management and career development in the support of the company's strategic plan. The role is part of the HR Senior management team and is therefore responsible for senior stakeholder engagement and management.

Duties will include:

Agreeing deliverables and ensuring projects are completed timely.

To develop and help managers meet business needs, ensuring they have access to the development they need.

To develop and deliver the learning and development strategy within the business that supports the business strategy.

Working with other L&D managers within the group to define and implement effective training for the business as a whole.

Design and deliver succession planning schemes.

Working with the wider HR team to translate the insights from employee engagement, analysing and monitoring the business, monitoring business performance and ensuring at all times the culture and values driven organisation is never compromised.

We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, lots of drive, good sense of humour and someone who can strategically see projects through to completion
