We're currently working on an outstanding opportunity for a very ambitious, driven and productive HR professional to join a prestigious financial services firm in the West End.

This role - HR Assistant, will work with a team of 4 to support the business through an exciting time of change, thus there will be many projects to work on.

The role will have elements of autonomy and the team are looking for someone that able to act independently, use their common sense and that is pragmatic. It is also a close working team however, so a helpful and supportive attitude is imperative.

Responsibilities will include:

Developing relationships with managers and assist with HR queries

Manage HR databases, and employee records

Provide ongoing advice to employees on procedures and policies

Prepare letters for various changes, and communications

Support payroll with any changes to pay etc.

Support the administration of company benefits, and with the annual salary and compensation review

Manage onboarding from background screening to induction, manage the leaver process

Support recruitment by screening CV's, coordinating interviews etc.

Assess training needs and organise courses

Coordinate summer intern programme, support the annual performance review and various other ad-hoc projects

Candidates suitable for this opportunity will possess the following:

Approximately 1-3 years of experience in an HR role

Experience of working in a corporate financial services firm

Ambition, drive, self-motivation and an eagerness to learn

A degree education ideally
