Ashley Kate HR are working in partnership with a small entrepreneurial R&D business in their search for a Head of HR/HR Director. This role is Oxford based and a permanent full time opportunity offering a salary of £80,000, up to £100,000 for the ideal candidate.

To be considered for the role you must have recent experience within either the pharmaceutical, life sciences or clinical industry within R&D and be commercially aware of the challenges they face on both a project and compliance basis. You will have also worked in a senior hands-on position within a small business (Under 100 hc).

Reporting into the CEO you will be instrumental in supporting the company's growth through its dedicated people. You will work closely with the board in creating and developing the people plan as well and implementing this throughout the business. You will be responsible for the whole employee lifecycle so you must be happy working at both a strategic and operational/transactional level. Due to the growth of the business you will be involved in various change projects and organisational restructures to support incoming projects so you must have strong experience within this area.

Key Responsibilities:
-Drive all HR activities throughout the Company
-Lead and manage the HR, Learning & Development teams internationally.
-Support the SLT and senior management team
-Review Company Policies and Procedures
-Manage change projects to support the growth of the business.
