HR & OD Business Partner - Northampton - Permanent - up to £45,000
Macildowie Recruitment is pleased to be working with an organisation in Northampton that is going through a real period of positive change. This change means that the organisation is looking to bring in an HR & OD Business Partner, who will play a key role in supporting the goals of the organisation. The role is permanent and will look to pay up to £45,000.
The HR&OD Business Partner will play a key role in the development of the organisation from a people perspective. While being competent in an operational HR capacity, the HR&OD Business Partner will lead and support on a variety of initiatives across L&D, Talent Management, CSR and the development of corporate values.
The HR&OD Business Partner will work closely with the wider HR team to develop and promote a learning culture within the organisation. A fundamental responsibility of the post holder will be to provide coaching and mentoring to managers to enable them to deliver culture transformation programmes within their own teams. On a broader level, the HR&OD Business Partner will lead the review of learning and development solutions on an ongoing basis to ensure organisational performance and behaviours are at a sufficient level within the business.
The HR&OD Business Partner will lead on Talent & Succession initiatives across the business; partnering with managers and the senior management team to establish key skills gaps and form strategies to develop internal resource and identify external needs. Employee engagement will play a critical role in overall effectiveness of this post so an understanding and experience of having led on engagement through surveys, focus groups and forums, while the ability to engage senior stakeholders will be key.
To be considered for this role you will be a competent HR professional with an inclination towards OD and will have a hands-on, coaching style. You will be commercially minded and will understand the need to demonstrate ROI on any costly interventions. You will be self sufficient and be able to think creatively and pragmatically to deliver effective solutions to a varied client based with varying needs.
