Your new role

Reporting directly into the Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for managing the on boarding and compliance for every candidate that is offered a role (circa 25-50 at any one time). This will include, but is not limited to, checking candidate references, managing security checks, confirming start dates and issuing contracts. You will monitor the end to end on-boarding process via an excel tracker, updating where necessary.

In addition, you will be responsible for managing all temporary assignments, advising line manages on which agencies to use and ensuring that the process is run efficiently. The successful candidate will be supporting the wider recruitment team with all campaign activity, ensuring that the candidate experience is managed effectively and efficiently. This will include liaising with candidates to issue feedback and updating them throughout the on-boarding process.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised individual who is comfortable managing a high workload and prioritising when required. Previous experience working in a Recruitment officer role is essential, as is excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. An understanding of HR systems is beneficial, whilst being proficient at using Excel is key to the role.
