Key responsibilities:

  • Identify training and development needs within the organisation through regular consultation with managers and human resources department
  • Create, implement and evaluate meaningful learning initiatives that facilitate individual growth and/or enhance team performance
  • Develop, manage and monitor internal training tools (e.g. e-learning portal, data base, etc.)
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to identify, research, and recommend learning solutions and prioritize learning investments to support overall business strategy
  • Review training materials from a variety of vendors and choose appropriate materials
  • Delivery of training and development programmes mainly on soft skills topics
  • Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, and attending relevant courses
  • Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, be involved in the creation and/ implementation of e-learning packages

Ideal candidate:

  • 3/5 years of experience in training, preferably within structured companies
  • Ability to pro-actively identify learning and development needs
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Previous experience in designing and implementing learning solutions/programs with and without external providers
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload and team delivery
