A leading commercial property business based in the City is currently recruiting for an experienced Reward specialist for a newly created role. This unique role has been created to support the Partners of the LLP. You will be the primary interface for the individual LLP members (c100+ people) supporting all aspects of their membership.
The role forms part of an integral but small working group of HR, Finance, Tax, Legal and Company Secretarial specialists in operating the LLP within its governance framework and providing best practice advice. Whilst there is a wide variety of work which will require flexibility in approach and involvement, your focus will be particularly in the areas of compensation and benefits, joiners and leavers and communication to LLP members. The main accountabilities will include:
*Ensure all aspects of the day to day operation of the LLP are working effectively and that all functional specialists are providing the relevant input into the governance and compliance framework for the LLP.
*Maintain strong, effective and trusted working relations with all the LLP members and senior stakeholders in all aspects of the operation and policies of the LLP
*Act as first point of contact for all members of the LLP in relation any aspect of their terms and conditions, remuneration and benefits to include application of taxes.
*Develop strong working relationships with external providers including the LLP accountants, car fleet and benefit providers working with internal teams when required
*Ensure the LLP operates in a compliant way with the terms of the LLP Agreement. Act as point of contact and advisor for all governance matters with other functional teams
*Support the HR Business Partner Team and Reward colleagues in all HR matters in providing governance advice relating to LLP terms and conditions, policies and custom and practice
*Act as informal Secretary to the LLP Working Group who oversee and manage the day to day running of the LLP.
*Support the LLP Management Board in any preparation and support for the LLP Members Forum
*Prepare and agree the annual budget for the LLP
Skills and Experience
*Experienced in dealing with senior management in relation to their terms and conditions and remuneration and benefits
*Strong knowledge of executive remuneration and preferably within the context of an LLP
*Understanding of the structure of and LLP and approach to the tax framework in the UK in relation to tan LLP and its members
*Experience of operation and tax around equity plans
*Degree level qualification
*Proven effective stakeholder management
*Strong analytical skills - verbal reasoning and numerical aptitude
*Good written communicator
*Able to remain flexible in the face of conflicting priorities and adapt approach depending on target audience
