Working with senior payroll staff in the production of the weekly payroll from start to finish, including starter, leavers, statutory payments, allowances and deductions.
Maintaining database and spreadsheet records utilising company systems
Deputising for the Senior Payroll Clerk when necessary
Assisting the Payroll Supervisor with supervisors payments
Assist in administering statutory payments for sickness, maternity and paternity.
Assist in recording and paying employee holiday and sickness entitlements
Weekly payroll costing analysis as requested by the Finance Manager.
Experience in an accounting environment
IT literate - Excel, Word etc.
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Flexible and adaptable approach
Organised with a good attention to detail
Excellent communications skills
