Permanent role as part of the hr team
Act as the primary point of contact for day to day employee matters that arise, and provide advice on HR policy and procedure.
Build strong working relationships with Department managers and provide support/coaching to them on all employment matters
Regular and close liaison with the areas they support to understand and anticipate People matters, developing a seasonal/annual plan to nurture, retain and develop the team with the Senior HR Officers and HR Manager.
Challenge and influence Managers decisions on their teams to ensure they are right for the business and its people.
Be the first point of contact for Employee Relations queries for managers at Head Office; provide advice in a coaching manner to ensure managers are empowered to make future decisions based on knowledge gained.
Give constructive, actionable feedback to help managers and employees to improve their performance, and flag any areas of concern to the Senior HR Officers / HR Manager for follow up.
Support initiatives to build line manager capability in essential skills
Assist in business initiatives including restructuring to ensure activities are commercial, cost effect and legally compliant. Support Managers through the process to ensure that all those impacted are dealt with a fair and consistent manner HR generalist experience with specific skills in positively managing challenging disciplinary, grievance, and absence cases
If you have experience in Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing or FMCG then that would be desirable but not essential.
Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards this qualification
Experience of supporting business initiatives including change and restructuring
A collaborate, coaching style with a proven experience of positively supporting Line Managers
£20,000 - £22,000 + benefits
