Your new role
The Senior HR Business Partner (Employee Relations) will manage a small ER team who are responsible for employee relations management across the organisation. The Senior HRBP will act a point of escalation to the team, and will manage any complex or high profile cases. The postholder will also manage settlement agreements and lead employee tribunal cases. Additional responsibilities will include managing restructuring programmes and leading the implementation of changes to working practices in the business. The role will include extensive consultation and negotiation with unions (local and regional level) and collective bargaining. The organisation would also be interested in suitable candidates who have the potential and ambition to progress to Head of HR level over the next 1 to 2 years.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced senior HR or ER business partner/manager with expert employee relations experience. You will be able to demonstrate strong experience of managing complex cases to tribunal level and settle agreements. It is essential that you have very strong trade union experience (to regional level as a minimum) and have lead collective bargaining agreements. You will be a strong people manager and be able to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £50,000 to £58,000 plus final salary pension and 30 days holiday (inc bank holidays) which rises with service. There is also fantastic career development potential to Head of HR level for the right candidate,
