Ashley Kate HR are working with a leading Global Pharmaceuticals organisation in their search for a Regional Training Manager to develop the L&D strategy across their UK offices.

This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial self-starter who wants the opportunity to help build a new function for an evolving, dynamic and growing business. Although these are a pharmaceutical business these really break the mould and are expressive, creative and allow their employees to flourish to give the best to their core priority - the patients! You will support the Head of L&D in creating a brand new learning and development strategy across the sales function.

Reporting into the Head of Learning & Development you will contribute to the identification of the field capability development requirements across the group. You will take full ownership in aligning the L&D strategies across the entire company and support delivery identifying significant gaps and utilising both internal and external expertise. Budget control will also be required and so relevant experience in this area is essential. You will be their L&D champion so you must enjoy networking within the business and be a strong leader who is able to influence without authority. You will build strong relationships with both field based and central employees and be able to connect with them on their level. Thus to be considered for the role you must have recently come from a pharmaceutical role.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Degree level relevant qualifications
Management, L&D / HR qualification preferable - CIPD
Strong project management and training ability
Ability and experience in the contribution to European training and development strategy and European initiatives
Excellent presenter and facilitator
Ability to work on a broad range of activities on a strategic and operational level
Fully qualified to deliver core training skills
Must have experience working in the Pharmaceuticals industry.

The salary on offer for this role is between £65,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance £6,960 + 10% bonus.

Due to this being a regional role you must be happy with 30/40% travel.
