The UK subsidiary of The National Bank of Kuwait is now seeking a Head of HR to join the business. Based in London (West End), the Head of HR will report into the UK MD and will lead a small HR Team.

The bank is a substantial international business with $86 billion of total assets. This is a full HR Generalist role and the Head of HR will be responsible for delivering both strategic and operational HR support to the MD and board, alongside providing independent and objective HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the business. Key areas of responsibility include:

All Policies, Procedures, documentation and contractual/statutory matters relating to HR, including managing recruitment, dismissals, employee benefits, training and development, promotions, transfers, work permits, disciplinary and grievance, holidays, timekeeping and attendance and all statutory/regulatory reporting.

Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analysing information.

Deal with all grievance and disciplinary issues ensuring these are dealt with in line with the Bank’s policies and statutory requirements.

You need to be able to demonstrate a track record of inspiring confidence, influencing senior managers through timely delivered information. You will have previous management experience and demonstrable skills in both large and small organisations. You will be comfortable working hands on in a progressive organisation.
