Senior Coach and Talent Development Manager

Are you a Senior level Coach with a passion for Talent Development who would love to work with a Global Talent Team? If so, please contact me about this brand new role.

Reporting into the Head of Talent and Development, you will be responsible for driving the firms Leadership Development programmes and take responsibility for three main areas:

Programme design and delivery

  • To work closely with key stakeholders to define training needs and the content of core programmes and to propose and agree overall approach to any agreed development programmes and workshops globally.
  • To ensure that programmes have defined learning objectives, that the style and structure of sessions and the flow of learning appropriately meets these, that programmes employ effective techniques and that a blended approach maximises learning
  • To project manage the delivery of programmes, managing the relationship with relevant members of the Training Events team to ensure the effective organisation, delivery and follow up of all programmes
  • To deliver value for money on all programmes - and set and manage the budget to achieve this.

Coaching and mentoring

  • To be the central lead for building external global coaching capability, quality assurance of coaching panels, maximising value from this investment and sourcing external coaches
  • To promote and implement transition coaching for fee earners consistently across the global network
  • To support the development of greater internal coaching capability through workshops and interventions as agreed

Team management

  • To manage the Talent & Development Manager who has lead responsibility for support staff development and any members of the team who have project management responsibility for the delivery of partner programmes and workshops

You will need substantial Training & Development experience along with a track record of working to design and implement successful development programmes at a senior level and be experienced in delivering skills training programmes.

My client is particularly looking for candidates with expertise in developing leadership capability at senior levels in the organisation.

A background in Financial or Professional Services is essential and experience in using psychometrics such as MBTI and experience of coaching (coaching accreditation) is desirable.
