Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this Employer of Choice based in Cirencester to recruit a talented Internal Communications Manager on a permanent basis. 2-3 days per week you will be based in Cirencester, the other 2-3 days will be out in the field / working from home.

Working in partnership with the Corporate Communications Team, you will manage the development and delivery of a communications strategy designed to inform and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop communication plans to support communication goals and business priorities
  • Manage the delivery of regular communication channels, sourcing relevant and appropriate content from within the business
  • Create and commission content, including video, photography, presentation material and infographics in line with the brand
  • Proactively advise internal teams on communication and support the development of communications capability within the team and wider stakeholder network
  • Support the continuous improvement of communications by seeking and responding to feedback and adjusting communications content accordingly

Key Skills:

  • Must be able to demonstrate strong experience of working in an internal communications team, preferably within a financial services environment
  • Solid understanding of business and organisational communication
  • Design, development and management of communication channels
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with the journalistic and creative ability to source stories and turn stakeholder material into engaging content
  • Ability to effectively manage and deliver multiple projects and priorities
  • A strong team player with a collaborative approach
  • Pro-active with the initiative and flexibility needed to be effective
  • Ability to quickly grasp new ideas and concepts
  • High personal and professional integrity with the confidence to interact with, challenge and influence Senior Managers
  • Thrives on working in a fast-paced environment with a resourceful can-do attitude

Technical Knowledge:

  • Diploma in Internal Communications - desirable but not essential
  • Proven extensive experience of planning and developing best practice internal communications, preferably within a financial services environment
  • Design, development and management of communication channels
