Your new company
An experienced HR Manager is required to join a brilliant charity based in Abingdon on a permanent basis. You will be joining a collaborative team who are all dedicated to the fantastic work that the charity do nationally. The offices are modern, benefit from onsite parking and are in close proximity to local amenities.
Your new role
You will head up the HR function and have responsibility for the management of one HR Assistant. Together you will provide sound advice to line managers and employees on a variety of HR related queries ranging from recruitment, to benefits and training. Furthermore, you will be responsible for contributing towards the strategic direction of the organisation, streamlining processes and procedures, updating the employee handbook and managing complex employee relations cases. You will also have the opportunity to introduce and roll out a new HR system to the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will have recent demonstrable HR experience at Manager level. You will have experience managing people, providing sound employment law advice to line managers and the ability to deal with sensitive issues discretely. Furthermore, you will be highly organised, diplomatic and enthusiastic.
What you'll get in return
