Macildowie HR are pleased to be supporting a leading professional services business in the recruitment of a Recruitment Lead to join their HR Division. Our client, based near Pride Park in Derby are a well known business who are looking for temporary support with their recruitment activity. This role will report into the HR Manager and will be responsible for coordinating all of the activity relating to the recruitment process. This is an ongoing temporary position which does have the potential to be made permanent. The Recruitment Lead role is a full time position working 9-5.30.

The Recruitment Lead will be responsible for managing all activity pertaining to the recruitment process. This position is a full 360 role as the successful candidate will be responsible to liaising directly with internal stakeholders such as the Head of Resourcing and Heads of Department alongside building a rapport with potential candidates. An understanding of workforce management and how to deliver against volume recruitment activity would be highly beneficial for this role. Typical responsibilities of the Recruitment Lead will include:


Drafting job adverts and job specifications
Utilisation of external job boards
Liaising with heads of department and the Head of Resourcing to determine the forecasted recruitment volumes
Updating of employee records
Coordination and facilitation of assessment centres
Management of the employee referencing process
Generating offer letters/ letters of regret

The successful Recruitment Lead will be experienced at managing volume recruitment processes. Previous experience of coordinating references and background checks would be highly beneficial for the role. The Recruitment Lead will demonstrate a positive approach to their work, able to build excellent levels of rapport both internally and externally. They will be highly organised, able to effectively work to deadlines and use their own initiative to find solutions to problems.
