I'm currently seeking a HR Business partner with experience in union negotiations to join my clients team in Manchester covering 12 months maternity leave, salary up to £48k per annum

About the HR Business Partner Role

As HR Business Partner in this 12 month maternity cover you will work with managers and stakeholders across the dedicated business area, providing a true Business Partner service, driving the area to success by driving the people strategy with the organisations business goals in mind at all time. You will have frequent contact with cooperative unions and negotiate on critical issues such as pay. Your duties will also include but not limited too;

  • Overseeing all recruitment (including specific campaigns) in to the business area
  • The ability to coach and influence managers and stakeholders in a diverse environment
  • Ensuring that all HR related projects smoothly and efficiently, within set time frames
  • Identifying gaps within talent and working collaboratively with Learning and development to close these
  • Working with line management to build strong succession plans
  • Promoting the people agenda with managers and stakeholders

About you the HR Business Partner

Essentially, as the HR Business Partner in this organisation you will have previously operated at the same level, and be able to demonstrate the following experience;

  • Union negotiations, ideally up to and including pay
  • Stakeholder influencing, coaching and management skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team collaboratively
  • Design and Implementation of HR strategies and policies
  • Up to date employment law knowledge
