Macildowie HR currently working with a business based in Northampton in recruiting for a HR Advisor. The role will provide HR support to the business making continuous improvements throughout the HR department and wider structure. The role is paying between £25,000-£30,000 and the business will consider recent graduates with a passion to learn to join them!
You will be responsible for providing HR and Recruitment advice across the business, supporting the business stakeholders with rolling out additional projects. You will facilitate recruitment within approved organisational establishment, advertise vacancies, managing applications, organising interviews, supporting in interviews for permanent positions and communication with candidates. Following on from recruitment you will administer the process for new starters, including preparing contracts, offer letters, policies handbook and carry out all pre-employment checks including completion of right to work checks in compliance with current legislation.
You will provide day to day advice to employees and line managers on general HR related queries as well as assisting in formal meetings, such as employee disciplinary/investigations. You will be the go to person throughout EMEA and work to align business objectives with employees and management. This person will assist Global and Corporate Training Managers in global alignment, development and performance of new hires throughout EMEA.
You will also be the point of contact for the new learning systems and assist in the training of all local employees. You will look at developing new ideas for training courses and work with Line Managers throughout to enrol their teams on specific courses which will advance their knowledge of the business.
The business as a whole are going through a particularly exciting time having acquired numerous sites across the region in the last year meaning you will get large involvement in various projects.
The ideal candidate will be extremely driven and able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. You will be competent in using all Microsoft office programs and have previous experience with HR systems. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of most HR disciplines including employee relations, reward and benefits, HR reporting, HR systems, learning and development and recruitment.
You will either be a recent HR/Law graduate with a passion for HR or have a couple of years experience wanting to gain exposure in a role with EMEA presence. You will be able to generate your own workload and work with autonomy when needed.
