Senior HR Generalist

Hays are proud to be working alongside our global clients who are looking for a new Senior HR Generalist to join their Belfast office. This role will be offered on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
Your new role
This is a standalone role in which you will be responsible for the full remit of the HR Function. You will be operating on both an operational and strategic level, with key areas including performance management; talent management; learning and development; employee relations and reward.
Main responsibilities will include:
Advising and coaching the leadership team in order to help develop people management skills
Working closely with HR partners across the group on performance/talent management
Handling all employee relations cases - Disciplinary/grievance
Ensuring onboarding and offboarding activities are correctly carried out in line with the organisation's standards.
Working closely with Learning and Development team to plan and deliver training
Change management and transformation planning
What you'll need to succeed
you will need:
Degree / Post Graduate degree in relevant Business / HR related discipline
Associate membership of CIPD
Strong generalist HR experience
Strong experience in Learning and Development - specifically in design and delivery of training programmes
Strong NI and GB employment law knowledge
Strong experience of liaising with Senior Stakeholders
Excellent project management skills with experience of delivering people related initiatives
Flexibility to travel to the UK periodically
