My client, a leading professional services firm is launching a resource delivery programme in one of its practice areas based in London catering for around 400 practitioners. This project involves a fundamental change in approach to the traditional resource delivery method. The new approach will involve more formalised planning, data analysis, continuous communication, and improved proactive input from fee earners.
In this role you will be leading the resourcing team from an operations and people management perspective to develop and implement the new approach and make recommendation to current processes and activities. You'll also define the new ways of working for the Practice, proactively engaging and communicating with the Practice about the new solution - setting expectations appropriately.
You will need to build strong working relationships across the Practice including proactively seeking input from fee earners and the resourcing team. You'll also identify resourcing challenges and escalate to the Business Manager and the Resource Partner.
The new focus will require a good deal of data collection, input and analysis - gathering and verifying details around the matters and associate preferences.
You should thrive on challenges and enjoy the day to day interaction with senior stakeholders face to face.
