One of my leading clients based in Sussex has an urgent requirement for an interim Global Head of Talent and Learning and Development. You will work with the Divisional HR teams and Senior Management team to fully understand their current and future business goals and identify talent, learning and development requirements, in order to develop strategies, processes and ways of working that enable the business to attract, retain and develop engaged employees.

Key responsibilities will include:
Mobilise the global talent strategy that supports the business objectives.
Ensure talent is a key priority across the business.
Develop and grow competences across all levels of leaders to meet business expectations of increased international collaboration and networking.
Create a solid pipeline of talent that meets the strategic and operational goals.
Develop a compelling employer brand and work with the HR team to build capability to source and attract talented employees to the organisation including emerging talent.
Produce clear and reliable talent acquisition and resourcing processes that select the best people and build user capability throughout the organisation.
Develop a Learning & Development framework that improves performance and capability, driving employee engagement and retention.
As a key member of the HR leadership team, you will play an active role in the global team supporting the HRD in building a high performing HR team.
Develop a learning culture across the business.
Manage a small global team.

The successful candidate will ideally have:
Significant experience of working within an international, matrix environment at a senior management level covering talent management, resourcing as well as leadership and management development.
Gravitas to be able to liaise with the senior management team and be able to demonstrate commercial awareness.
Ability to work at both a strategic and operational level and be able to work on their own as well as a team to drive initiatives forward.
Strong change management skills.
Strong relationship management skills
