HR Policy Manager
Our client is a leading multi-national market leader based just outside Luton. Having experienced continued growth resulting in a large upward shift this new vacancy has been created. It is being offered as a 12 Month FTC but could also be a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Supporting a Senior HR manager with a project they now need this new hire to supporting HR Leadership team, the wider HR function and Regional Directors and be responsible for:
Lead the development and implementation of policies across all business functions and divisions, ensuring that policies adhere to legislation and corporate governance, whilst reflecting the business values and goals
Develop a framework to recommend and implement an employee forum which is aligned to the Information and Consultation regulations and enables a collective and consultative approach to developing an employee voice.
Assess the effectiveness of people policies and employment documents.
Maintain a strong external view of ER and Engagement through research and networking, and a keen eye on legislative developments, to provide thought leadership needed to guide the organisation to effective solutions which are aligned to current legislation
Creating an overall policy framework and giving a general direction which can be implemented in each of our HR disciplines
To develop, maintain and communicate key policies, which demonstrate a practical understanding of how all people management practices work within the organisation
Effective communication techniques available to deliver this information to line managers
Provide technical guidance for relevant business projects and are aligned to the HR Transformation Programme
Ensure that all policy developments which are required as part of the solution, is delivered on time and reflected within the system design
Work with key stakeholders to manage the programme of activities in the context of business change
Candidates need to evidence their thorough understanding of Policy challenges in a large, fast paced environment. You will have a strong understanding and awareness of HR employment policies and procedures and their application within a commercial environment. You will be credible, with expert report writing skills. You will have extensive Project Management experience, at least 5+ years in-depth HR knowledge and be CIPD Qualified.
