NEW ROLE - Talent Manager - Graduate & Apprenticeship based in Birmingham
Your new company
My client are a large commercial organisation who are going through a sustained period of business transformation and investment. They are now looking to recruit a Talent Manager to join their HR team based from their offices in Birmingham City Centre. The role is a fixed term contract for 12 months but it is hoped that the role will become permanent.
Your new role
The Talent Manager will form part of the Learning and Resourcing team and will focus on the development and management of their graduate and apprenticeship programmes. The role will oversee current schemes and develop, introduce and implement new programmes designed to maximise development, that build succession pipelines to meet business objectives and growth plans, and that ensures high potential talent in retained in the business. The role will also develop relationships with colleges and universities and develop strategies to promote the organisation as an employer of choice. The Talent Manager will be responsible for the early years talent budget and the apprenticeship levy.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a credible Talent Manager with in depth experience of graduate and apprenticeship development. Demonstrable expertise of the complete graduate and apprenticeship cycle from attraction, recruitment, developing programmes and scheme management is essential. Candidates will be an Apprenticeship Levy SME and will have experience of project and budget management. They are open to industry background but candidates will have previously worked in large matrix structured organisation.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £47,304 to £54,400 plus excellent benefits. This is a full time role but the organisation does support flexible working.
