HR Assistant - Legal
A leading, law firm based in central London, near Chancery Lane tube station, is looking for an HR Assistant to join the organisation on a 6 month fixed term contract, with the view to then become permanent. This person will be working closely with the HR Managers and Officers to support the day to day delivery of HR processes and departmental administration. This is a generalist role that offers exposure to HR information systems, employee relations, L&D, recruitment, compensation and benefits and operational HR.Specifically, this person will be responsible for:Providing support to HR officer with the monthly payroll submissionEnsuring all employee information is inputted into the HRIS (Cascade) accurately and on timeProviding guidance to staff regarding the firm's benefits packageWorking closely with HR Officers to action regular HR management reports as appropriateLiaising with recruiting managers, recruitment agencies and candidates to arrange interviewsAdministering tests for candidates when necessaryCo-ordinating the management of candidate applications via the firm's recruitment portal "Allhires"Preparation of all paperwork including offer letters and contracts, new joiner details and leaver paperworkArranging inductions with key stakeholders and support functionsArrange leaver details and manage the exit interview processProvide day-to-day HR guidance on policies, procedures and processes.
