A leading, global law firm based in central London, near Moorgate tube station, are looking for a Recruitment Advisor to join the organisation on a 12-14 month fixed term contract on a maternity cover. The successful candidate will be joining the busy Lateral Recruitment team and have operational responsibility for the end to end recruitment of Business Services staff.
Specifically, this person will be responsible for:
Providing high quality guidance and recommendations to hiring managers/stakeholders with regards to attraction and recruitment
Supporting the hiring manager in identifying their recruitment needs, understanding the role and preparing the job description
Appropriately recording candidate CV submissions and organising/attending interview as and when required
Advising the hiring manager at offer stage
Managing the screening and vetting process for new starters
Liaising with recruitment agencies on all stages of the recruitment process
Keeping other members of the HR department regularly updated with developments in relation to recruitment and longer-term staffing requirements
Working closely with the Recruitment Administrator and HR Systems team to deliver the administration, systems and management information for the Recruitment function
Ideally, this candidate will:
Have previous recruitment experience at an equivalent level in a professional services environment (or similar)
Be degree educated (or equivalent)
Be able to work collaboratively in a team and independently
Be organised in their work and capable of managing their priorities and deadlines
Build strong business relationships with internal and external contacts
Be able to work with demanding individuals and communication professionally and effectively
Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and recruitment systems
Demonstrate a proven ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and possess professional ethics at all times
