HR Business Partner
£35k per annum
Swindon

Macildowie HR is working closely with a large organisation that is searching for a strong HRBP to join their office in Swindon. The role will be to support the delivery of an operational and strategic HR service to deliver a value-added service that reflects the critical business objectives of the organisation. This role will work directly with the Senior Business partner across a range of HR activity to provide accurate HR advice in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

-Provide timely, accurate and robust advice and guidance on complex HR issues including, but not limited to disciplinary, capability, grievance, absence management and organisational change
-Support and advise on the harmonisation of Terms and Conditions
-Take a leading role in restructuring and change programmes including project planning and coordination of severance / VR processes ensuring legislative and statutory requirements are taken in to account at all times
-Support key operational and strategic HR initiatives
-Provide assistance, guidance and support to investigating managers during complex employment relation cases including supporting or presenting information during formal hearings
-Provide direct guidance and detailed expert advice to decision makers through all stages of formal procedures, hearings and appeal processes
-Handling of responses and preparation for Employment Tribunal cases, including liaison with employment lawyers and ACAS, seeking alternative resolution where appropriate. Making sound judgements and managing risk appropriately
-Provide updates, in a timely manner, to the Senior HR Management Team in relation to individual cases
-Support organisation wide initiatives to improve the wellbeing and engagement of teams and individuals, as well as working with local management teams to identify local issues requiring bespoke support or intervention

Requirements

-Detailed knowledge and experience of advising directly on a range of HR, management and Employee Relations issues within a complex organisation
-Ability to manage and mitigate risk, in an employee relations context, based on a highly developed understanding of relevant employment legislation and high quality case planning
-Significant experience of undertaking investigations and supporting managers during formal procedures, including drafting and collating a range of complex and detailed documents
-Able to adopt a creative and flexible approach to resolving a wide range of employment issues including experience of early intervention and an awareness of alternative dispute resolution
-Able to demonstrate rational, reasoned and sound professional judgements taking into consideration
