ER Officer within Professional Services
A highly successful, reputable and global professional services organisation is looking for an organised and confidential Employee Relations Officer for a 6 month FTC. There may be the opportunity of a permanent role afterwards. You will be supporting the ER team in providing a full ER service to a key business area, with a particular emphasis in the end to end management of ER cases. This a new role where you can really learn and develop, make the role your own and work for a highly recognised company.
Working as part of an experienced team, accountabilities include:
*Providing first line support on operational issues to the business on ER matters such as performance/capability, absence management, disciplinaries and grievances
*Supporting the ER team or working with managers to resolve capability issues and end to end management of ER cases
*Carrying out admin duties relating to ER, working collaboratively with the Talent team
*Maintaining accurate MI, delivering regular analytics to the Senior ER Manager and HR Leadership Team
*Assisting with the design and delivery of development workshops in areas of ER best practice
*Ad hoc projects
Skills and experience
*You must have gained good ER experience within an HR environment, or be at HR Officer level with experience of working on ER cases
*Strong organisational, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
*Good employment law knowledge
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Intermediate to advanced MS Office, particularly strong on Excel
