L&D Officer - £35,000 - £45,000 - SME International Bank

Your new company
An exciting opportunity has arisen working as an L&D Officer for a SME sized International Bank based in Central London. In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of Human Resources.

Your new role
As an L&D Officer, you will be responsible for shaping and developing competence in the organisation by implementing the delivery of training and development programmes. You will be using multiple channels to deliver training sessions (online, lunch and learn, informal sessions) in line with employee training requirements. Furthermore, you will be conducting Training Needs Analysis interviews and identifying employee skills shortages, from there, designing and delivering comprehensive training programmes to improve employee competence across all business lines (management/leadership training; technical training; personal development and regulatory (e.g. Financial Crime). You will also be working closely as an interface with Compliance to design and implement training packages for new and ongoing financial services regulatory training.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as an L&D Officer, you will have experience in a central L&D Training role within an international banking or financial services firm. You will have good knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and have expertise in upskilling and training the business. Also, experience in creating / delivering training plans, evaluate training programmes and assessing ROI is essential. You will be required to operate a blended learning approach, and consider multiple channels of delivering training sessions, hence an innovative and forward-thinking approach to training methods in crucial. An understanding of e-learning techniques and online learning programmes such as Unicorn are desirable.
