Payroll Manager - £36k to £46k + Benefits - Edinburgh

A leading UK Retail Bank based in Edinburgh seek an experienced Payroll Manager to join the team and lead from the front.

The Bank have been on a journey since relocating their payroll offering and this is the first time that this position has been advertised.

What my client are looking for:

Subject matter expert for all payroll questions and queries

Be able to run an effective and error free end to end payroll service

Strong people management skill set: Developing, mentoring and driving individuals

SAP knowledge and experience

Operational experience

Business partnering skill set: Internal/External & Senior Stakeholders

Strong communication skill set

Someone who can oversee the day to day payroll offering for a high volume payroll

Complex calculations

High levels of attention to detail

Other:

Ability to drive change and deliver

Adhere to payroll controls and processes

Ability to work with internal and external suppliers

Ability to implement statutory legislation

Be able to deliver on all reconciliations and transfers

Be able to provide concrete advice and guidance
