HR Manager

Central London £33,000 - £35,000 PA

August start

Job purpose

This is a key role within a creative innovative strategy company, critical to the delivery of a successful HR strategy.

The main objective of this role is to continue the work to mature the HR function within the business, with a focus on the recruitment, development and retention of employees.

Main accountabilities

Manage the full employee lifecycle and self-service HR platform - recruitment, induction, reviews, ER casework, leavers

Responsible for the visa process - being the Level 1 user of the company account and ensuring compliance

Manage the Learning and Development programme - identifying skills gaps, organising internal and external training, recording and monitoring impact

Responsible for all company policies, ensuring compliance with new legislation

Manage payroll and pensions

Organise all employee benefits including, private health insurance, eye tests, flu vaccine, Employee Events Scheme

Lead on the workstream to gain Investors in People accreditation

Impact and influence

The HR Manager is expected to proactively lead and develop the HR function by aligning to the company strategy

Knowledge, skills and experience

Level 5 CIPD desirable, or working towards this

Excellent communicator

Experience of ER casework

Proficient in Microsoft applications with the ability to manipulate data and produce reports

Experience of competency frameworks would be an advantage
