This is a great opportunity for a HR Manager who enjoys a fast-paced, stand-alone generalist role, with a mix of strategic and operational responsibilities. This is a varied role in which you will take the lead in driving the people agenda ensuring this is a great place to work! Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that support the business goals. Whilst initially this role will focus on the UK, due to growth you will also take responsibility for HR strategy and practices in Europe, which will mean some European travel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Employee relations including performance management
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation of the people
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems and processes across the business
  • Really nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain compensation and benefits program
  • Ensure development needs are met

You will be a people orientated and results driven individual with a broad generalist HR background gained within a commercial environment. In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of Employment law and HR best practices
