A really interesting role looking after 40 analysts. You will be performing a mixture of workforce planning, people management, talent management, appraisals, career development and project management.

Description

Core Responsibilities include:

People Circa: 35 - 40 direct reports

  • Responsible for delivery of development program to analysts in accordance with delivery program

  • Coaching and mentoring analysts to increase professional and technical capability supporting development and future career progression

  • Managing analyst performance, adhering to all policies and procedures

  • Facilitating monthly performance and annual appraisal reviews for analysts across all levels

  • Attending Team Meetings, Knowledge Exchanges and Regional Social Events

  • Working with wider management team on planning of resources to maximize utilisation

  • Managing commercials through the procurement process e.g. statement of work / PO No

Service Delivery Circa: 8/10 Clients

  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across our existing client portfolio

  • Co-ordinating and facilitating service review meetings alongside Client Partner

  • Escalating delivery risks to the Client Partner and wider management team

  • Obtaining client feedback on performance and progressing appropriate course of action

Account Development

  • Highlighting account development opportunities to Client Partner

  • Supporting development of account plans and tactics to expand our existing client portfolio

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across existing accounts

  • Attending account development meetings with Client Partner to promote proposition and service

  • Working with Business Development, Client Partner and Recruitment to close new roles

  • Supporting creation of commercial profiles to maximise account development opportunities

  • Pre-mobilisation of candidates in readiness for client introduction meeting

Business Development

  • Highlighting account development opportunities to Business Development Manager

  • Working with Business Development, Client Partner and Recruitment to close new roles

Recruitment

  • Performing interviews across all stages of the recruitment process, phone interview to final stage

Change Management

  • Driving engagement and a culture of continuous improvement across our business

Profile

  • A background working in Resource Management roles within a similar organization and with a good understanding of the IT project lifecycle

  • Experience of working as a collaborative member of a business unit management team

  • Experience of managing and mentoring more junior staff

  • Good Stakeholder Management skills, able to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • A highly visible people-orientated style with the assertiveness, determination and relationship building skills to challenge objectives and ensure positive results

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Calm and patient under pressure

  • Must demonstrate drive and enthusiasm to take positive action and progress projects to a conclusion

  • A clear thinker, with an aptitude for detail
