ArtisHR are currently supporting a prestigious client in central Bristol with the recruitment of a HR Advisor for a 14month ftc, this is a great opportunity to be part of the HR Business Partnering team. The role is paying £25-30,000 dependant on experience.
We are recruiting for a HR Advisor to join the Human Resources team in Bristol. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner the post holder will supports the HR business partner team in providing commercially-focused generalist HR advice and support .

As a HR Advisor you will be involved in all elements of providing a commercially focused HR service to the firm. On a day to basis you can expect to be dealing with some or all of the following as well as many other tasks not listed:
*Provide guidance and advice on HR policies and practices to stakeholders, consulting with the HRBP team where appropriate.
*Conduct informal and formal meetings to include disciplinary meetings, capability meetings, probation review meetings and grievance investigations meetings with stakeholders where appropriate with HRBP team support.
*Liaise with stakeholders and provide assistance where necessary regarding changes to terms and conditions of employment; secondments; promotions etc with support from the HRBP team.
*Provide support to the HR Assistant with flexible working requests, probation reviews, changes to terms and conditions of employment and payroll changes.
*Provide support to the HR Assistant with the maternity, shared parental leave, adoption and paternity processes, including meetings.
*Provide support to the HR Assistant with the leaver process, including conducting exit interviews and compiling exit interview and leaver data.
*Take a proactive approach to absence management, including providing advice to stakeholders on managing employee absence, leading on informal return to work meetings or sickness absence meetings and acting as a liaison with Occupational Health.
The Ideal Candidate

*Ideally you will have previous work experience in a HR professional/advisory role;
*Strong IT skills with experience in Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft office packages and experience of iTrent (HR software) would be advantageous;
*CIPD qualified or working towards the qualification.
*Experience working in the legal or professional services sector would be an advantage;
*A self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills, willing to work flexibly in both a service and projects-based environment;
*You must have excellent written and spoken English;
*A willingness to travel to different UK locations from time to time.
