Senior HR Business Partner - Regional with Northampton base - £65,000 + Car

Macildowie Recruitment is delighted to be working as an exclusive partner with a well known national business in the recruitment of a Senior HR Business Partner. The business has a strong reputation in its market and prides itself on high levels of service delivery. The role will be recruited on a permanent basis and will offer a salary around the £65,000 mark + car.

The Role
The Senior HR Business Partner will support a diverse client group within the business to drive through a variety of change initiatives, aligned to the wider business objectives. The role will require some strategic and tactical planning but will also require hands on application. You will work with a variety of stakeholders to engage the business and will support a number of ongoing improvement initiatives from both HR and operational business perspectives.

The Senior HR Business Partner while running with their own projects will assume a managerial position - leading a small team of Business Partners. The objectives from a team management perspective will be linked to increasing creativity of ideas, ensuring continuity and consistency, and maintaining high levels of motivation and teamship.

The Senior HR Business Partner will be tasked with assessing organisational effectiveness and tailoring solutions to create improvements in operational effectiveness. This will involve developing leadership capability through coaching and create bespoke training, identifying talent and looking at succession planning, and restructuring or redeploying where required. Working in collaboration with recruitment, the Senior HR Business Partner will also pilot new recruitment initiatives to satisfy growth areas and changing skills requirements.

The Person
Our client is looking for a pragmatic HR generalist with experience of managing a HR team and has experience in a fast paced environment - creating a sense of being for HR colleagues and trust with stakeholders are a must for this role. Our client is looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and really get to know the business from the bottom up to ensure the localised HR strategy is effective and fit for purpose. An efficient approach to working, a commercial mindset and a strong work ethic are essential to be successful in this role. Flexibility in visiting the various sites across the UK will be required.
