A leading media, advertising and public relations company based in London is looking for a Global Mobility Associate to join their wider Human Resources and Personnel team

The Global Mobility Associate, Global People Movement will be responsible for managing, coordinating and administrating all activities within the end-to-end mobility lifecycle for in and out-bound travelers & assignees with focus on Continental Europe. They will work under the supervision of a Mobility Manager or Lead.

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Consulting and guiding business teams, stakeholders and internal teams on all mobility related matters, including policy, process, income tax, immigration and social security
  • Manage and own cross border movement cases
  • Managing the work permit application and secondment declaration process for, mainly UK, UAE and other European countries as required
  • Provide day-to-day support to travelers to ensure value-added mobility services
  • Conduct pre-departure, post-arrival orientations, briefings and repatriation meetings
  • Initiate periodic check-ins with assignees during the assignment to resolve possible issues
  • Provide payroll and shadow payroll oversight
  • Data tracking and compliance reporting
  • Prepare/process documentation and calculations in line with agreed policies and contractual arrangements
  • Cooperation with and coordination of external suppliers like law firms, tax consultants and relocation companies
  • Manage annual tax and social security compliance
  • Communication and coordination with authorities
  • Work and collaborate with team members and stakeholders in EMEA, India, Europe and North America
  • Participate in Global Mobility projects


Job Requirements for the Global Mobility Associate in London:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree with proven long-term experience in the field of international assignment management / global mobility

  • Experience working within the field of international assignments, global mobility or expatriate management

  • Payroll experience in support of international assignments

  • Regional knowledge of regional immigration, tax and social security regulations

  • Must have exceptional operational, communication, analytical and technical skills

  • Ability and willingness to work in a globally distributed team and with stakeholders while maintaining strong professional relationships with a client led focus.

  • Strong team orientation and assertiveness

  • Attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurately to tight deadlines

  • Fluent in English and other languages desirable
