We are working with a leading national facilities business seeking a hands on HR Business Partner to join their People Team. This is a fast-paced and commercial role for a solution-focused generalist to drive change and strategy.

Client Details

With over 100 years of experience in their industry, our client has 200 sites nationally and puts people at the heart of their success. The People Team is highly commercial, and the Business Partners work closely with Senior Operational Managers to drive and deliver change management, engagement strategy, ER/IR & Trade Union engagement, and Group HR projects.


  • Mixed strategic and operational role supporting the delivery of HR and Business Objectives
  • Promoting employee engagement strategy, completing and executing engagement plans
  • Change management, restructure, redundancy, TUPE
  • Manage key ER & IR projects and policy, including local, regional and national Trade Union engagement
  • Management development, succession planning, performance and leadership reviews
  • Coaching line managers on people management matters
  • Monitoring metrics with a focus on measuring commercial value added
  • Group HR projects as required


  • You will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified or above
  • Experience with trade unions is essential
  • Background in large transport/logistics/facilities businesses highly desired
  • You will be confident in a true partnering role reporting into Senior Management
  • You will have strong strategic experience
  • You will be commercial and solutions-focused
