The company has an excellent reputation for hiring strong people and promoting them internally, which is why this newly created role has arisen. The business is looking to grow, and they are interested in attracting talented, ambitious people to join their Reading based organisation.
Key responsibilities will include leading a team of four staff, identifying the key programmes needed and those that require improvement, continuously ensuring that the training delivered is fit for purpose. The Career Development Manager will design a consistent approach to defining and assessing role-specific skills and competencies. He/she will also identify and embed external best practice into career development, ensuring new methodology and thinking are supporting training design and delivery to develop an effective learning experience. This person will also develop continuous professional development routes to address specific skill requirements across the business.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience and indepth knowledge of professional development methodologies, CPD development and experience within a similar team.
On offer is a management level role - leading a talented team. The package will include a salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience, and potentially a company car allowance and bonus for the right individual.
