This role is based within a central HR team which works in close partnership with all departments within the business. This role will see you providing efficient confidential HR administrative support to the HR team to ensure that legal obligations are met.

  • Produce draft offers of employment and contracts for approval
  • Liaise with joiner, HR advisor and business regarding acceptance/paperwork and appropriate start date
  • Gather new joiner information, including copies of passport/driving licence/proof of qualifications etc and maintain check list of returns
  • Set up calendar appointments for probation meetings
  • Ensure relevant forms are returned to HR and set up new employee computerised personnel file
  • Calculate and confirm holiday entitlement
  • Update People HR and relevant spreadsheets with new joiner details
  • Main point of contact for the candidate to answer any queries and escalate as necessary


Prior experience in a HR administration role

Must be able to work within a confidential environment

Strong administration skills with great attention to detail

Experienced and competent with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc) as well as comfortable using CRM systems

Strong stakeholder management skills
