We are working with a successful manufacturing company who are looking for a HR Officer based in Barnsley.

Main Duties:
·Having an active involvement in recruitment and selection, including developing and reviewing job descriptions, person specifications, writing job adverts, short listing, assisting with interviews, selection process and writing job offers/ contracts of employment.
·Supporting the employee engagement initiatives such as the employee engagement survey
·You will take ownership of training across the Group including updating the training matrix training, writing personnel development programs, arrangement of training and management of expiring qualifications.
· You will support in first line disciplinary and grievance issues
You will be working closely with the HR Manager to support them to deliver professional, legally compliant advice across the Group. You will also champion continuous improvement within the department and work dynamically with the wider team to achieve success
You will have
·Up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice
·A CIPD qualification or equivalent required
·Background in a similar, fast paced, large manufacturing organisation
·Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
·Strong administrative and organisation skills
